Battle of the Bands

Battle of the Bands is an opportunity to show the world what you and your band have got!

If you know a group that fits the bill, wants to represent their communities, connect with fellow artists, and be part of an unforgettable experience – sign up for the Battle of the Bands.

THE WINNING BAND WILL RECEIVE:

  • A songwriting workshop with Troy Cassar-Daley
  • Headline the main stage at Barunga Festival 2026
  • A professional photoshoot at the festival
  • Song recorded in a professional studio

All participants will receive gift cards and shirts.
All backline equipment and instruments are supplied!

Applications close 15th of May.

Entry is strictly open to:

  • Emerging Indigenous bands.
  • Bands playing original music only (no covers permitted).
  • Bands consisting of a minimum of 2 members.
  • Bands that are completely unsigned and not currently affiliated with any label or management / PR company.
