Ngulmiya Nundhirribala is an iconic ceremony leader and songman from Arnhem Land with a godlike voice and presence.
Ngulmiya shares improvisations on previously private ceremony songs and Dhumbala (Red Flag) songs and stories, that developed over centuries, through his family’s long relationship and history with the Makassan traders and sailors from SE Asia.
J-MILLA was born and bred in the northern Australian city of Darwin. He is a loud and proud member of the Indigenous Mak Mak Marranungu people, who are the traditional landowners of the Litchfield National Park of the Northern Territory.
With music and storytelling being a part of his life since birth, J-MILLA learned the power of narrative and the influence it can have on those around you. At age 11 his passion for writing his own lyrics and telling his own stories began.

Yung Milla is a loud and proud member of the Mak Mak Marranungu people, who are the traditional land owners of the Litchfield National Park area. Tjupi (Honey Ant) come from Papunya and play energetic and emotive desert reggae.
Singing in Luritja as well as English, as a result they are a musical inspiration for people across Central Australia.
Tjupi Band in many ways epitomizes Central Australian desert reggae – sparse upbeat, driving kick and snare, in-language.
Hailing from Gapuwiyak, Terry Guyula creates ethereal spaces and infectious melodies drawn from Songlines, Dreamtime stories and life in community. Guyula’s unique style blends synth-pop, country and rock, stitched together by his uplifting songwriting and dreamy voice.
2023 saw a big start for Drifting Clouds hitting the road and playing some of NT’s best festivals: Barunga, Stone Country and East Arnhem Live.
Yilila is the creation of Ngulmiya Nundhirribala, an accomplished singer, songwriter, songman, dancer and ceremony leader. Yilila mixes traditional Red Flag songs and stories with high energy reggae and rock music. The Red Flag songs tell the stories of the Makassan traders who traded with the Numburindi people of South East Arnhem for hundreds of years.
Andrew Gurruwiwi Band are a high-energy, 8-piece funk band who have honed their chops on the beach at Birrtjimi and in the dirt of Yirrkala, the Andrew Gurruwiwi Band write real funk jams in their native tongue, Yolngu Matha. Their sound is truly fresh – Yolngu Funk – a style only hinted at previously on the impossible-to-find pair of 7-inches cut by George Rrurrambu & Birdwave, that now go for hundreds of dollars on Discogs.
